Because of YOU, Healing is Happening — Thank You! ![]()
At Triple C Equine Assisted Programs, healing comes one hoofbeat at a time. Our horses are more than animals — they are our Beloved Partners in restoring hope for veterans, first responders, and survivors of tragedy and individuals looking to heal their relationships. Every gift — cash, in-kind, or equine, has kept this mission alive. Look at what YOU have made possible:

Because of YOU:
Children in Uvalde have found healing through our "Horsing Around with Literacy" program where:
Mentorship with Purpose: 8th graders who lived through tragedy now find healing by mentoring 2nd graders — giving them purpose, dignity, and hope.
2nd graders write to the horses, who “write back” with misspellings and funny grammar, reminding kids that mistakes are safe and learning can be fun.
Books that Heal: Every child receives 2 horse-themed book to take home — sparking imagination and encouraging reading long after the program.
Hands-On Learning: In the spring, children spend a full day with horses — measuring, weighing, exploring the digestive system, running obstacle courses, and discovering math and science in living motion.
Rhythm & Regulation: Children learn how trauma affects the body, then discover how horses’ steady gait, obstacle courses, and drum making sessions promote rhythms bringing calm, balance, and safety to their bodies.
Trauma-Informed Connection: Children learn skills of self-regulation, body awareness, and connection that they carry into school, friendships, and family life.
Gateway to Healing: Families from this community are gently reminded that individual equine therapy is available free of charge later if their child needs deeper support.
High schoolers in Utopiacompleted the first year of our "Hearts and Hooves" Programs where they have built leadership and confidence. We are hoping to expand this program to other districts.
Veterans and first responders in our "Healing Herds" program are laying down weapons and instead carrying halters, they are finding peace and connection through horses. In Healing Herds: Family Edition, spouses and children join them, learning together how trauma is carried in the body, and how healing can be shared. Families discover new ways to trust, communicate, and reconnect, often for the first time in years.
We are currently preparing a 3–5 year vision to walk with flood-impacted families in Kerrville, Ingram, and Hunt communities.
And still ahead of us:
"The Arc of Dreams" — a covered round pen where healing can happen in every season.
"The Arc of Dreams; If we build it, Healing will come"![]()
From the bottom of our Hearts and Hooves, WE THANK YOU.
Every horse, every acre, every bale of hay, every stall, every vaccine, every gift of books— it all goes to one thing: healing for those who serve and those who have survived.
